For a long time now, we have stated the facts that going organic is a very expensive endeavor, and this is especially true given the fact that regular “non-organic” foods are increasing in price as everything else gets more expensive and our economy slips further into a recession. Sorry, sorry, enough ranting. In the midst of all this monetary fretting, of course, is the fact that people are going ot go cheap rather than healthy.

Plus, as organicconsumers.org states, “the percentage of consumers who believe organic products are good for them is down to 45%, while those who believe they’re good for the environment has fallen to 48%, according to the latest survey from consulting firm WSL Strategic Retail. Both measures stood at a 54% approval rating two years ago.”
